JRV Home Inspection Services is an NRSB nationally certified radon measurement specialist and a State of Connecticut trained testing service. All radon test screenings using the Sun Nuclear 1027 continuous radon monitors (CRM), the quickest, most accurate and reliable radon testing method available. Using a CRM your test results are available to you the same day the test is completed!

IMPORTANT: The State of Connecticut requires no training, certification or licensing for radon testing providers.

Continuous Radon Monitor

We conduct the entire test according to US EPA testing protocol guidelines following a stringent chain of custody to ensure accurate results. Further we ask the current homeowner read and sign a test non-interference-conformance agreement. This helps ensure that EPA testing conditions are maintained during testing and that the responsibility for ensuring these conditions are adhered to rests on the home seller.

As stated by the EPA we include with every test the EPA publication Home Buyer's and Seller's Guide to Radon. This EPA booklet explains the health risks associated with radon gas and is crucial to understanding your radon test results and what they mean to you and your family's health.

If your home has a private well it is just as important to test the well water for radon. Testing the air will not indicate if the water has an elevated level of radon. Both the air and the water must be tested separately. One test does not correlate to the other.
